A few years after losing both of my parents, I found myself yearning for something deeper than another trip. Through my grief, I felt an undeniable pull to return to Laos—the country where I was born, where my parents were from, and where my family’s story began.
I wasn’t looking for a vacation. I was searching for something that felt impossible to describe: closure, connection, and perhaps a way to feel close to my parents once again. I wanted to walk where they had walked, visit the villages they once called home, and uncover the stories that time, distance, and generations had left untold.
When I learned that the home where I was born was still standing, I knew I had to go. That journey became one of the most profound experiences of my life.
I traced my father’s history from village to village, piecing together fragments of my family’s past through conversations, shared memories, and unexpected connections. I arrived knowing almost no one, so every discovery came from asking questions, listening carefully, and following every thread that might lead me closer to understanding where I came from.
Along the way, I spoke the language, stood on the same soil my parents once knew, and experienced a way of life that had shaped my family long before it shaped me.
It wasn’t simply a trip. It was a homecoming.
When I returned, I felt whole - as though a part of me that had been searching for years had finally found its way home. If that had been the last journey I ever took, I would have been completely content.
That experience changed me forever. It’s also the reason I want to help others experience that same sense of connection.
A genealogy journey is so much more than a vacation. It’s an opportunity to stand where your ancestors once stood, trace the path that brought your family to the present, and experience your heritage in a way that no history book or family story ever could.
Whether you’re seeking answers, honoring those who came before you, or hoping to better understand your own story, these journeys have the power to reconnect you with something deeply human: the desire to know where we come from and how those who came before us shaped who we are today.
Sometimes the greatest adventure isn’t traveling farther. It’s finding your way home.

I get it—travel, especially when it’s tied to your past, is deeply personal. It takes a lot of trust in the person you’re letting plan this once-in-a-lifetime journey. It’s got to be spot on. I invite you to learn more about me to see if we jive.
Genealogy journeys require careful ancestry research, and I’ll help you connect the dots—linking you with local experts, uncovering historical records, and arranging visits to ancestral towns, villages, and landmarks. It’s history, discovery, and personal growth woven into an experience that deepens your sense of identity and belonging. I'll handle the details, so you can focus on the journey itself.
If you’ve ever wondered where you truly come from, or felt that pull toward a place you’ve never been, this is your sign to go. Because sometimes, the most powerful journey is the one that leads you home.
